  • As everything is thoughtfully handmade, processing time generally takes 4-6 weeks, whether your order is small or large. If you’re new to ordering with HULI, we will gladly provide images and/or videos of your pieces being made.

  • Pieces are hand thrown on the potter’s wheel or hand built. They are then left to dry for a few days to get to a stage potter’s refer to as “leather hard.” At this stage, pieces are trimmed, carved and / or cleaned up. Pieces are then left until they reach bone dry. If there is any moisture upon entering their first firing, pieces are likely to explode in the kiln, so patience here is key.

    Wares will undergo two firings: the first ,a bisque fire, reaching a top temperature of 1943F over 12.5 hours, and the second a glaze fire (where pieces have now been glazed) reaching a top temperature of 2243F over 8.5 hours. Each firing takes a couple of days to complete.

    Lastly, items are sanded, packed for shipping and ready for you to enjoy!

    If you would like to save on shipping and can pick up from either the Sunshine Coast or Vancouver, B.C., please use the code LOCALPU upon check out. I will then reach out and arrange a date that works for you.

  • We will aim to pack the week your orders come through. They will be shipped expedited via Canada Post. Estimated delivery time is usually 5-7 days. Please note this can also depend on time of year. During peak shipping times such as Christmas, items can take longer to arrive which is out of our control.

  • Yes. HULI Studio cares about our planet and takes pride in using materials that are environmentally friendly: cardboard, paper, biodegradable peanuts, paper tape. We also will recycle shipping materials we have received and we encourage you all do the same.

  • All HULI Studio wares are handmade by Claudette and are food and dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended for long lasting care.

  • Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. HULI Studio is not responsible for delays due to customs.

  • Although we do everything we can to pack items safely, accidents can happen. Please report a damaged good within 24 hours of receiving your delivery for a refund to be issued.

    A photo of the damage and proof of delivery date is required.

    Damages reported outside fo the 24 hour limit will not be refunded.

  • As items are all handmade, HULI Studio does not accept returns or exchanges, but please contact us if you have any problems with your order.
